Morcha wants only Gorkhaland

The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, which spearheaded the Gorkhaland agitation, had signed an agreement with the center and the state forming the Gorkhaland territorial administration in 2011. Now, in 2023, the General secretary of the party Roshan Giri, in a statement today, said that the party has sent letters to the Prime Minister, Home Minister and the Chief Minister of West Bengal stating that they are withdrawing their signature and will no longer be a part of the GTA any longer.
