Four injured in a fire

A fire broke out in Dharam Nagar, ward 1 of the siliguri municipal corporation on Saturday. Four persons were injured when they attempted to douse the fire. They were rushed to the siliguri district hospital. Ten houses were gutted by the fire. The incident took place when a cooking gas cylinder leaked while someone was cooking. The fire spread rapidly as the houses were in close proximity to each other and other cylinders also exploded.
