40 Kg Cannabis recovered by Excise officials

A team of excise officials, on a tip off, recovered 40 Kg of Cannabis from a coach on the Rani Kamlapati express train on Monday. The officials started the search from Cooch Behar and finally found the contraband hidden inside a special compartment in the S5 coach. The contraband goods are said to be worth over 6 lakh rupees in the present market. No arrests were made.
