Two arrested and Two crores worth of drugs recovered in Siliguri

The special operations group of the Siliguri Metropolitan police arrested two drug traffickers and recovered rupees two crores worth of brown sugar from them. The accused was using a ladies handbag to carry the contraband when they were picked up by the police after they received a tip off. The accused were produced at the district court. Lately, the Siliguri Metropolitan police have started a campaign for a drug free city. The campaign has gained a lot of ground with the police making several arrests and contraband seizures over the past few months.
